The property was clean with personable staff. Had good sleep at the superior queen room with a comfortable working space. Multi-channel television, a seating area, and a study table were provided. The location was unbeatable and perfectly comfortable, close to New Hampshire for business, the State House and shops and restaurants. Everything was simply good.

The Centennial was AMAZING! The room was beautiful. Close enough to the main street shops but far away from the buzz of the city. Hotel staff was great. Turn down service was quite unique, the cookies were delicious. We did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant but the menu looked amazing and prices look very reasonable. Definitely will be staying there again in the future!!!!

Tho outside is beautiful and they have done a nice job of remodeling this building.
We had a room on the first floor with a porch and the original windows. The room was cold when we arrived. The heat did work really fast and we were able to warm the room up quickly. When you stay at an older renovated property with original windows I guess this is to be expected. The bathroom was very nice and the room was very clean.

The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The small private hotel feel added a sense of intimacy. Dining options were good, especially enjoying good meat at the restaurant. Noise from adjacent areas was distracting at times, and some furnishings felt dated and uncomfortable. The cold draft in certain rooms made it less cozy than expected.

Convienient to highways
The hotel is a converted nursing home. The air conditioning wasn't working...hot day. No batteries in TV remote...Toilet kept running all night. Many rooms have slanted ceilings giving a more enclosed feel. The rooms were small anyway. After three room tries we ended up in the handicapped room by the front desk. Couldn't wait to leave. It was over priced...a drive to town...nothing special. Would have been happier at a budget hotel with a working toilet and air conditioning..

Nicely modernised in a lovely old building. Lots of character and well appointed as well. Very clean.

The Centennial Hotel's dining options had a good flair, especially with the nearby Constantly Pizza just a hop away for tasty slices! I also loved the charming Victorian accents that lent an inviting atmosphere throughout the place. Plus, those fresh-baked cookies waiting for me in my spacious room were the cherry on top!
Given its vintage charm, I guess it's just part of the package, but it dampened the tranquil vibe a bit.
